MBC took part in all the activities planned within the framework of the Global Money Week.
A team of 15 ambassadors from the company visited more than 10 schools across Georgia to educate students on money management issues through fun lessons.
A series of open lessons took place in public schools in Tbilisi, Marneuli, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Rustavi and Akhaltsikhe. In overall, over 300 children attended the event.
During the lessons "MBC" ambassadors shared information on issues such as: the history of money, responsibility towards the environment, saving, and the importance of managing personal finances.
Children and young people are encouraged to become financially, economically and entrepreneurially aware during Global Money Week, which has been celebrated worldwide since 2012.
Georgia joined the celebration of Global Money Week for the ninth time this year, thanks to the National Bank of Georgia and its financial education platform, "Finedu". The week is celebrated in more than 170 countries around the world.
