Measures Taken to Prevent COVID-19

In order to prevent and manage the spread of coronavirus, the MBC regularly implements and recommends measures developed by the World Health Organization.

The activities include regular disinfection work, as well as steps to reduce employee contacts and ensure maximum security for customers in service centers.

In particular:

• Disinfection works have been carried out regularly in the company's head office and service centers since last week;
• The office and branches are cleaned several times a day with a special disinfectant solution;
• MBC has provided employees with antiseptic products, disposable gloves and protective face masks;
• The service centers provide antiseptics to customers;
• The company regularly recommends customers to use remote services as much as possible;
• Action "Travel" has been launched in MBC, which significantly reduces the use of public transport by employees;
• In order to reduce face-to-face contacts, the head office staff was redistributed to 4 different locations;
• Employees who are at high risk due to a health condition have been switched to remote work mode since last week;
• Also, those employees whose work specifics allow it, work remotel.

Employees are one of the main assets and values of MBC. Therefore, the company's management continuously analyzes the risks, the situation of Georgia and takes appropriate and effective steps based on the recommendations of the country's health services.
