Celebrating the International Day of Down syndrome, MBC got involved in the #INeedASock campaign.
Down Syndrome Day is celebrated by every State and International Organization since 2012. Increasing public awareness about Down syndrome is the main goal of the campaigns carried out around the globe every March 21.
In Georgia the campaign is supporting "Gigo’s Foundation".
The foundation is created by Gigo Shiukashvili, founder of the Association of Down Syndrome of Georgia and aims to support children with down syndrome.
The bowling tournament was also took place in regard to this day, where the employees of MBC also participated and team took the second place. The tournament was held by the Georgian Down Syndrome Association and the Bowling Club "Lebosovsky" and the 17 companies participated in it.
