Microfinance Organization MBC has received USD 1.5 million of financial resources from "Symbiotics", the leading market access platform for impact investing.
During the pandemic, the company has received USD 1 million (equivalent in GEL) and USD 500,000 unsecured loans to help small businesses. These financial resources enable MBC to provide support to small entrepreneurs and farmers, facilitate the smooth operation of their activities; as well as offering a wider range and variety of services to customers.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, MBC has managed to receive a number of foreign investments from such international organisations as: "Incofin" and "Bank im Bistum Essen".
In February 2020, the recognized German international rating company Scope Ratings gave the microfinance organization MBC a credit rating of B + stable. Despite the pandemic, MBC managed to maintain a leading position and the highest credit rating on microfinance market.
