The Secretariat of the Global Compact Network Georgia (GCNG) organized an annual General Assembly Meeting and introduced a new Managing Head and Chairman of the Board to its members. MBC employees have also participated in it.
As a result of the management changes, local network of the Global Compact will be headed by Irine Urushadze, and George Welton will chair the board for the next two years.
In addition, the Secretariat, presented an action plan to its members and reviewed the implemented activities on both, international and local level.
Within the GCNG three working groups have been established which will start working on the issues such as Labour rights, Environment protection and Women's Empowerment in business sector.
