Mr. Petriasvili received his M.S. and Ph.D degrees in theoretical physics from Moscow State University. In 1988 he began his scientific career as a Research Associate at the High Energy Institute of Tbilisi State University and a visiting scientist at Moscow Institute for Nuclear Research. Dr. Petriashvili Published number of research papers in international scientific journals.
Dr. Petriashvili started his business activities in early nineties in Moscow, Russia. In 1993 he founded commercial Bank Basisbank in Georgia and became its first chairmen of Supervisory Board. In 1999 Dr. Petriashvili returned to Georgia and joined the Caucasus Fund, an investment fund sponsored by OPIC. In 1999-2002 he served as a Director of Georgian Operations of Caucasus Advisors, the management company of Caucasus Fund with offices in New York, Baku, Tbilisi, and Yerevan. From 2002 to 2005 he was Founder & Managing Director of Maidan Entertainment Center – first European class Georgian restaurant in Tbilisi. In 2006-2009 he was a founder and Managing Director of Solo-Lucky Investors, a real estate investment and development company. From 1998 to 2012 Dr. Petriashvili also served as a member of Supervisory Board of Basisbank. After 20 years of work experience in banking sector Mr. Petriashvili and his partners founded JSC Microfinance Organization Micro Business Capital (MBC), where he works as a General Director since 2012. In 2017 Mr. Petriashvili was appointed as a member of Supervisory Board of MBC.
Giorgi graduated from Tbilisi State University with B.A. in economics. In 2006 he received his MBA Degree at Caucasus Academic Centre (CAC). Since 2014 he has been a Ph.D student in business administration at Georgian Technical University, Department of Engineering. Giorgi has over 11 years of experience working in the banking sector. Hestarted his career with Constanta Bank in 2005 as a Credit Officer and soon was promoted to Branch Manager and then to Head of Miniand Mini- AgroСredits Division. Since 2013 Giorgi Ghvaladze has been one of the first employees of MBC, and is currently in charge of the Credit department.
Eteri Chachibaia has over 9 years of experience in the banking and financial sectors. She has worked at Basis Bank and HSBC Bank Georgia, occupying various leading positions in fields of customer service, operations, retail and corporate banking. She also worked in international and non-governmental organizations for several years. Eteri holds a master's degree in international economics and has attended numerous international trainings and qualifying courses covering finance and management. Eteri Chachibaia has been part of the MBC team since 2013.
The Manager of Operations is in charge of the Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics and MFO service centres.
Tatia Jajanashvili graduated from Caucasus University with B.A in Finance. She has also attended various qualification trainings regarding financial accounting and business administration. Currently she is enrolled in MBA program at Grenoble Graduate School of Business.
From 2011 through 2014 Tatia worked as a senior management accounting and analysis officer in Bank Constanta. Tatia Jajanashvili joined MBC as a financial manager in 2014.
Financial manager is in charge of treasury management, accounting, financial reporting and information technology.
Nino Devdariani earned BBA degree in Quantitative Finance at Georgian-American University in 2010. In 2014, Nino graduated Master program at Williams College (USA) with honors. She gained The World Bank’s full scholarship to pursue the master’s studies.
From 2008 to 2013 she was working at the National Bank of Georgia on Risk Management and Control of Foreign Reserves. From 2014-2016 she was working at the Ministry of Finance of Georgia on Public Debt Risk Management direction. At the same time she was reading lectures in “Development Finance” and “International Macroeconomics” at the Georgian-American University. She has attended various trainings and workshops organized by International Financial Institutions in the field of risk management. Nino has joined MBC team in 2016. Risk management division is in charge of credit risks, operational risks, legal and AML.
